|The Vision for The King's Fishers Ministries
The prompting of this written expression has been inspired by Habbakuk 2:2, “Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write
the vision and make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.” We strongly feel that the Lord is requiring of this
ministry to do the same.
The heart of The King’s Fishers Ministries has always consisted of a burden for lost souls. Once converted, in order to
achieve maturity, one must be discipled. We envision a residence where a spiritual appetite will be appeased as we worship,
pray and share the unadulterated truth of God’s Word. In addition to this vital guidance, free training in various skills will be
offered including fundamentals for basic living.
Each individual/family will inhabit their own dwelling which is inclusive of power, heat and a kitchen facility. There will be a
main lodging for us, The King’s Fishers, a family of five, with the availability of visitations from the inhabitants within the
campus, upon request. A separate shop will exist for the vocational training to teach various trades. Worship, corporate
prayer and bible study will be experienced within the main home where The King’s Fishers reside.
The outline of the land will also entail a baptismal pond, separate bathrooms, and separate shower houses for males and
females, a garden with vegetables and herbs, animals to give milk, eggs etc., a
playground for young children, and a basketball court. To further cut monthly expenses we would have solar panels as a
power source, water well as a source of water, wood-burning stove as a heat source, and swamp cooler to keep the
residences cool in heat of the summer.
The garden will serve two purposes:
1) It will serve as a healthy source of food which will cut down on expenses.
2) It will be a source used to produce natural products which will be made and sold to generate income into the ministry.
Our prayer is that as you read this heart-felt description, you will see and capture this vision as the very heartbeat of God.
This is not a task that we could accomplish on our own therefore please pray and ask the Lord to intervene to bring in all the
provision and in His perfect timing.
God said, "I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give
you a future filled with hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11). He has a much better plan for the unfortunate ones. An old Chinese proverb
said, “Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” We want to feed
others for a lifetime with spiritual and practical training and show them the future that God has planned for them. Please
partner with us to fulfill this vision that God has planned for this ministry.
